ATTENTION:  My "Ripley's Believe It or Not Book Collectors Exchange" is now out of business due to fire damage to my inventory.  However, just in the event that you are still interested in collecting, the following information is presented.
 

Below is listed all of the Ripley's Believe It or Not! books that have been published, and the year originally printed.  Unfortunately, almost all of them are now out of print.  If you are a collector, then you know how difficult that it is to find them, even those published in recent years.  Book stores only order them once, or not at all and by special order.  And, their computer denies the existence of all but maybe a few.  The books are even rarely found at used bookstores, and it takes you forever to find them by digging in piles of paperbacks at little used bookstores all over town.  Some can be found on website auctions, like Ebay.

There are several Ripley's Believe It or Not! museums in the United States and several more around the world, but most will have only a few books on hand for sale, if any at all.  The Ripley headquarters has a website about all of their museums around the world, at www.ripleys.com, but they do not sell books on the website.  The museum in Orlando has their own website at www.ripleysorlando.com, plus the San Francisco museum has a website at www.ripleysf.com, and they do have several books for sale.  A Ripley's musuem in Australia has a website at www.fan.net.au/ripleys, but they do not offer books for sale on their website.

I have received many E-mails asking which book a certain Believe It or Not! item is in.  Sorry, but I have no way of knowing that.  I do not have a data base cross reference to find any particular item.  Ripley's headquarters does have an archive reference service, and for a minimum charge of $25, they will look up an article for you.  For this service call (407) 345-8010 Ext. 126 or E-mail:  archives@ripleys.com.  Ripley's has put out only one new book in the last several years, and they are mainly interested in promoting their museums.
